The Fred Astaire Dance Studios located throughout Manhattan offer a style of ballroom dancing unlike any other. Established by Mr. Fred Astaire in 1947 at the Park Ave. location, the tradition of his teachings continue to thrive throughout New York, as well as surrounding states. One can learn the basics of all forms including: cha cha, rhumba, tango, swing, foxtrot, hustle, mambo, waltz, samba, merengue, paso doble, and quickstep.
