We just learned that the Legends of Aerospace at the Intrepid Sea, Air, & Space Museum has been postponed until tomorrow (Sunday, March 14th) because of the heavy rain and poor conditions. From the museum's site:
"“Legends of Aerospace,” will bring a group of famous aviators and astronauts including Neil Armstrong and Gene Cernan, the first and last men on the moon, Captain Jim Lovell, Commander of Apollo 13, Bob Gilliland, the first man to ever fly the SR-71 Blackbird, and General Steve Ritchie, the last Air Force Ace, to the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum at 11AM* on Sunday, March 14. The panel discussion will be moderated by former “Good Morning America” host David Hartman."
Admission is free with your paid admission to the museum. Doors open at 9am and the event starts at 11.
